As per the amendment in PMLA rules by the Government, all bank accounts should be linked with Aadhaar before 31st Mar’18; failing which the accounts will become inoperative till the time the Aadhaar number is submitted and linked to the accounts.
For linking your Aadhaar number with your credit card you must have to visit your nearest bank branch that’s issued a credit card. For example you have a State Bank of India (SBI) Credit card, so you have to visit your nearest SBI branch with both original and photocopy of Aadhaar.
Now you have to ask aadhaar linking form in bank branch and fill all mandatory field such like Credit Card Details, and aadhaar details and make a signature and submit the duly signed form to the concerned branch official.

How to link SBI Credit Card with Aadhaar via SMS
- Type “UID Aadhaar Number (space) account number” on the keypad of your mobile phone
- From the registered phone number, send the SMS to 567676
- You will receive a confirmation message, once the process is successful
SBI customers can access any of the bank’s ATMs to seed their Aadhaar with the bank account.
How to link SBI Credit Card with Aadhaar via ATM
After swiping the ATM card and entering your PIN, Select the menu “Service – Registrations”. Select Aadhaar Registration (or inquiry as per your need). Select the account type.
The user is then asked to enter his or her Aadhaar number.
